Specimen Requirements

Draw 2, 10-mL plain, red-top tubes. Do not centrifuge. Forward unprocessed whole blood at ambient temperature only via Nordx courier.

Note:  1. Patient’s Social Security number is required on tubes for processing.

2. Label specimen with patient’s name (first and last), Social Security number, date of birth, date and time of draw, and phlebotomist’s initials.
