Test Code APSS Antiphospholipid Screen
Useful For
EliA Cardiolipin and Beta-2 Microglobulin (B2M) tests are primarily used to diagnose and manage different, specific medical conditions. [1]
- EliA Cardiolipin (IgG, IgM, IgA): Specifically used to detect antibodies for diagnosing Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS), assessing risks of thrombosis (blood clots) and pregnancy-related complications.
- Beta-2 Microglobulin (B2M): Used as a tumor marker to monitor blood cancers (multiple myeloma, lymphoma), evaluate renal (kidney) function, or as a marker for certain infectious/inflammatory conditions.
