Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).

Nasopharyngeal, nasal swab or nasal wash/aspirate

Minimum volume: 1mL, viral transport media (VTM) or universal transport media (UTM).

Specimen is stable for 12 hours at room temperature. Refrigerate if delay in testing is expected.
