Specimen Requirement

Collect blood in a gold-top, serum separater tube (SST). Label tube with patient's name, date of birth, date and time of collection and collectors initial's. 

Specimen stability:

8 hours at room temperature

48 hours at 2-8°C

Spin tube and remove serum and freeze at ≤ -20°C if testing is not complete within 48 hours.

Minimum volume:  0.5 mL
