Important Note

Specimen must be sent to the lab immediately after collection.

Specimen

Capillary blood from heel, finger or earlobe with a mixing wire/bar (flea), in two or three heparinized capillary tubes. Samples must be free of air bubbles or exess air.

 

Minimum volume:  2-3 safeCLINITUBES (capillary collection tubes)

Specimen stability:  30 minutes at room temperature
