Specimen Requirements

Specimen must arrive within 48 hours of draw.

SEND SPECIMENS SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY ONLY, AND NOT THE DAY BEFORE A HOLIDAY. SPECIMEN SHOULD BE COLLECTED AND PACKAGED AS CLOSE TO SHIPPING TIME AS POSSIBLE.

Draw blood in 1 yellow-top (ACD) tube, either ACD solution A or ACD solution B. Send whole blood at ambient temperature only. Do not refrigerate or freeze specimen.
