Specimen Requirements

Draw blood in a gold or a plain, red top tube(s) 8 to 12 hours after last dose or just prior to morning dose. (Lipemic specimen not acceptable) refrigerated.

Note:  Label specimen with patient’s name (first and last), date of birth, date and time of draw, and phlebotomist’s initials.

Sample may be stored  at 2-8C for up to seven (7) days. Freeze for longer storage.
