Specimen
Urine, random
Collect random urine and send refrigerated in a screw-capped plastic urine container. Label the specimen with the patient's name (first and last), DOB and date and time of collection.
Specimen stability:
48 hours at room temperature
14 days refrigerated at 2-8°C
14 days frozen at ≤ -20°C
Minimum volume:
3 mL
