This test is a highly sensitive, automated immunoassay used to screen for IgG autoantibodies, serving as a vital aid in diagnosing Connective Tissue Diseases (CTDs).

Specimen Requirements

Collection Container/Tube:

Preferred: Serum (Gold top)

Acceptable: Red top

Submission Container/Tube: Plastic vial

Specimen Volume: 2mL preferred, 1.5mL minimum 

Collection Instructions: Centrifuge within 2 hours and aliquot serum into a plastic vial.
