Specimen

Collect 20 mL from a random urine collection in a plastic urine container. Send the specimen refrigerated with no preservatives in the collection container. Label the specimen with the patient's name (first and last), date of birth, date and time of collection, and the collector's initials. 

Specimen stability:  4 days refrigerated

Minimum volume:    1 mL
