Useful For

The EliA Celikey test is a highly specific, automated blood test used to diagnose celiac disease and dermatitis herpetiformis by measuring IgA or IgG antibodies to tissue transglutaminase (tTG). It aids in identifying the disease, differentiating it from other conditions, and monitoring adherence to a gluten-free diet.

Specimen Requirements

Collection Container/Tube:

Preferred: Serum

Acceptable: Red top

Submission Container/Tube: Plastic vial

Specimen Volume: 2mL preferred, 1.5mL minimum 

Collection Instructions: Centrifuge within 2 hours and aliquot serum into a plastic vial.
